Bushcraft & Woodland 3D Archery

You’ll learn the skills required to shoot and survive in the woods, as our ancestors did. In the morning, learn core bushcraft skills including fire lighting techniques using only natural materials and a magnesium striker. Collect materials and light your fires to boil some water for a brew.

Camp craft involves developing safe and efficient knife working skills required for preparing wood for the fire and also making a splitting wedge, pot hanger or tent pegs for a tarp shelter. Then a brief lunch in the woods before an awesome afternoon of 3D Field Archery awaits.

This is not your standard archery experience! ‘Woodland 3D Archery’ at our Dorset woodland is a masterclass in stealth and adopting advanced skills with a bow and arrow, honing your archery skills to precision and accuracy.

You’ll learn all you need to know on an archery training session, then head deep into the woods, take shots from elevation, longer distances and through vegetation. Here you’ll put your new knowledge to the test as you keep your eyes peeled, moving stealthily through the forest and firing at animal or zombie themed targets.

Although our 3D targets are animal (or Zombie) themed, we absolutely do not condone hunting animals for sport, Zombies are fair game though!

Ages 12+. No previous experience required. A fair level of physical ability and agility is required as this is a full day in a rustic woodland, involving moving through the woods without any man made paths. Water will be available for refills and there’s a composting toilet in the woods.

For Bushcraft & 3D Archery courses, we require an initial booking of 5 people, perfect for larger families and groups. Smaller numbers can then book once a session is confirmed (Ages 12+)

• No previous experience expected or required. Pre-booking is essential. We welcome families, couples, businesses and stag & hen parties. Located 30 mins from Swanage, Bournemouth and Weymouth.
